Ok I'll tell you:
We had a light flood in our company. Water was almost up to the knees.
And those cams are an "color option" for our laser scanners. Dozens of them were trashed, because they were drowned in mudwater.
Well i asked, if I can take one and "dissasemble it". Well i noticed then, that the cam has no defect, besides a few hotpixels. I removed dust, charged the battery and - beeeng - the seeker was clear again and revealed a nice HUD.
When the battery was empty, the seeker gave only a total brown, blurry view. But noone seemed to know about this fact^^
And I still dont't know why this is like it is... |
